Geniální přítelkyně / Neapolská sága

Ač mi normálně nevadí otevřené konce, po přečtení této tetralogie jsem nejprve nebyla úplně spokojená ze závěru. Co se stalo Tině? Co se stalo s tou holčičkou? Zůstali i její rodiče napořád sami a v nejistotě?
Výhodou otevřeného konce ale je, že nám tak dala autorka prostor vysvětlit si závěr příběhu po svém, najít si např. vlastní vysvětlení panenek na konci. 
A tak jsem vymyslela a sepsala vlastní alternativní epilog formou povídky. Takový závěr příběhu který by se mně osobně alespoň trochu líbil. Koho by zajímal, nabízím k nahlédnutí. 
Rozhodně si jsem ale vědoma toho, že každý si může vytvořit vlastní a žádný nemusí být lepší ani horší.

I apologize in advance for the shortcomings of the English language.

Although I normally don't mind open endings, after reading Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Novels tetralogy (the series is known as My Brilliant Friend), I wasn't entirely happy with the ending at first. What happened to Tina? Were even her parents left alone and in limbo forever?

But the advantage of the open ending is that it gave us the space to explain the end of the story in our own way, to find our own explanations for the dolls at the end, for example.

And so I devised and wrote my own alternative epilogue in the form of a short story. A conclusion to the story that I personally would have liked at least a little bit. Whoever would be interested in it, I offer it for your perusal.

But I'm definitely aware that anyone can create their own and none need be better or worse.
